| These fully cast fittings
together with BS1387 tubing provide strong durable installations for
a variety of different applications both inside or out. Used extensively
for pedestrian guard railing, trolley barriers, storage racking as
well as barrier rails for use in leisure parks, sports stadia and
playgrounds. If required both tubes and fittings can be colour powder
coated as they lend themselves favourably to schemes such as interior
design, shop fitting and exhibition stands etc. ?provided there is sufficient volume. With the recent legislation to provide invalid ramps and access to corporate as well as public areas the addition of the 90 series of variable ramp fittings could not be more timely. These fittings allow for an adjustment of between 4 and 10 degree’s enabling construction to meet its statutory requirements without the need for expensive purpose made railing. The system is highly flexible and uses only the minimum of tools for site construction without the need for specialised skills. In addition to the fittings we also offer tube and a tube cutting service. Manufactured from high quality malleable iron castings in excess of BS6681 (ISO 5922) and BS 2789 (ISO 1083) and finished galvanised to BS729 (ISO 1461). Locking is achieved by means of an ‘allen key’ that when tightened to 4.1 kg (29ft/lbs) a slip load of 900kg can be obtained on each screw. To view our range of A Series fittings click here
